ABOUT OUR FOUNDATION 
COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP 

The Wood County Hospital Foundation was established in 1987 as a separate 501(c)3 to raise philanthropic funds in support of major construction projects, equipment purchase and facility renovations that enhance patient care at the hospital.

Its purpose is to obtain charitable contributions, manage those gifts and disburse them under the direction of a volunteer board of directors, from the community, who set policy and direct the activities of the organization.  All gifts donated to the Foundation are tax deductible to the full extent currently allowed by law.

The mission of the Foundation is to help ensure that Wood County Hospital has the resources needed to successfully accomplish its strategic vision and meet the healthcare challenges facing the community it serves.  We will achieve this mission through supporting the objective of Wood County Hospital to continually improve the health of our residents.
